Hearing Loss Association of Fort Worth

meets on the second Saturday of each month,

10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  Snacks at 9:30 a.m.

 

Deaf Action Center (Dallas)

now rents space for services at Goodrich Center.

 

Deafness Resource Specialist

This Specialist will assist the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened in the areas of advocacy, self empowerment, and sensitivity training, as well as Federal and State mandates on equal access to services, including education and employment. In many instances, she will serve as a liaison between client and service providers.

 

Hearing Loss Resource Specialist

Karen Moulder

(hlrs3b@dars.state.tx.us)

Karen will assist the Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, and Deaf, offering communication strategies and technology solutions for the workplace, home, education, social settings, and beyond. Karen will meet one-on-one with clients, demonstrate the latest in assistive technology, and can give Hearing Loss presentations for community groups, organizations and professionals.
